MANDURAH artist Emma Blyth and husband Simon Haggett have been flipping houses for years.
However, the couple have no immediate plans to sell their latest transformation – beach shack in Falcon.
“It was an old beach shack, but it had good bones,” she said.

“We love the natural look, the timber poles and the corrugated iron.”
While Mr Haggett did most of the labour and structural work, Mrs Blyth indulged her creative flair with the decorating.
“We are a great team,” she said.
“We renovated this house over a couple of years.”
Her favourite pieces are the Morrocan tiles and the cray pot lights.
“We love our outdoor lifestyle, so there is a big balcony,” she said.
“There are great beach views.”
Mrs Blyth said they had done a few renovations in the past and had learnt along the way.
“People can’t believe when we finally finish renovating a house and turn around and sell it,” she said.
“But I get excited about the next place.”
For now their Falcon beach house is home.
However, Mrs Blyth said they might move if she found inspiration in another shack with potential.
