Despite being forced wide, Max Profit didn’t go away and he continued to pressure the leader in the run for home, but Pepper Fire was equal to the challenge.

With Max Profit breathing down her neck, Pepper Fire lifted again to put the issue beyond doubt and she rattled past the finish post to score by three-quarters of a length in 22.68sec.

Pepper Fire has 13 wins and more than $120,000 in stakes from 40 starts.
