Mandurah Greyhounds: Victorian chaser Juno Away in good form

Tim SlaterMandurah Coastal Times

Juno Away surged late to run down the leading Fantastic Hulk in the final few strides to take the race by a neck in 23.01.

She has now claimed three of five starts and is yet to miss a podium finish since joining Cosi Dagostino’s kennels last month.

Meanwhile it was a case of 11th time lucky for Jerry Gundi as the Jen Thompson-trained chaser recorded his breakthrough maiden victory.

Jerry Gundi had been knocking on the door with eight minor placings from his previous 10 starts but hadn’t been able to obtain that illusive victory until now.
