Heathcote Museum to showcase the State’s most talented Year 12 visual arts students

HEATHCOTE Museum will showcase works by some of the State’s most talented Year 12 visual arts students next month.

The Southern Perspectives exhibition includes work by graduates from selected high schools south of the river.

Paintings, textiles, digital photography, sculpture and printmaking by 27 students from 11 participating schools been chosen for the exhibition.

Gallery curator Jana Braddock said the exhibition was an opportunity to experience thought-provoking artworks that were otherwise often unavailable to the public.

The exhibition will continue Saturday, February 11 to Sunday, March 19.

Gallery hours are Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 3pm, and on weekends from noon until 4pm.Southern Perspectives 2016 installation.
