Police hunt man after Applecross burglary

FREMANTLE Detectives need help to identify a man involved in an Applecross burglary on Tuesday, January 17.

He is described as being fair skinned, aged 20 to 30 years, and of medium build.

The man also had a tattoo on his left shoulder.

This man is believed to have entered a Duncraig Road house about 6.35pm where he stole several items before jumping the fence and walking through the backyard of a neighbouring property.

He was seen by the neighbour and the fled the property before the owner and son gave chase in a vehicle.

They found the man a short time later at a nearby primary school on Kintail Road but when approached he produced a knife and threatened the pair.

The man also attempted to damage their car with the knife.
