Valeria Fermendjin murder: investigators renew appeals for information

MAJOR Crime detectives have renewed appeals for any information regarding the murder of Melville grandmother Valeria Fermendjin.

Mrs Fermendjin was killed in her Leach Highway home between 7.20am and 8.30am on Tuesday, January 5 last year.

Police are still hoping to speak to a couple that is believed to have walked past the 70-year-old’s home around the time it is believed she died.

They are also asking a male caller that contact Crime Stoppers anonymously on March 13 about 12.40pm to get back in touch with police after providing information that proved helpful to detectives.

Another caller that contacted Crime Stoppers soon after the murder on January 13 last year is also asked to get back in touch with police.
