Opinion: Don’t build the wall

So much beauty at stake
So much beauty at stake

A READER queried the possessiveness of using “our” in information provided by the Alfred Cove Action Group – “our environment”, “our foreshore”.

People who drive down Canning Highway and glance at the green, open space of Tompkins Park can appreciate the beauty of mature trees, expected to be felled for the development.

I wonder whether those same people travelling down the highway will look out and with the same ownership and pleasure say about the wave park “Ah look, our carpark and our

concrete wall”.
