Stop knocking Melville Council

Frank Granger, ApplecrossMelville Gazette

I GET tired of the letters knocking Melville City Council.

I have lived in the council area for 55 years and over those years, I have not had cause to complain.

Sure, we had to wait for our road to be upgraded due to the financial downturn, but now it is completed we have a first-class road.

We have our road swept and our river foreshores mowed regularly for the public to enjoy.

Our rubbish collectors have never been on strike, unlike those in other councils.

Melville councillors give up a lot of their free time for the benefit of the ratepayers.

While I am on about knockers, I am also tired of the letters about the Perth Freight Link.
