THREE Melville players have been named in the WA squads for the upcoming Australian Country Cricket Championships in Wollongong.

Mitchell Jackson will form part of the male squad aiming for a repeat of its 2014 title-winning success while Georgie Middleton and Meg Thompson are in a female side attending the carnival for just the second time in its history.

Thompson, who hails from Bunbury originally, will captain the women’s side.
