WITH a fresh focus on youth development, East Fremantle Bowling Club is making a resurgence on the competitive scene after a number of years in decline.

Club selectors have emphasised a mixture of youth and experience and that formula has paid dividends in the second half of the pennant competition.

The club enjoyed success with a young side of Travis Vallance, Brett Rickwood and Lewis Peel-Butler reaching the semi finals of the state second division and triples after the club won the event the previous year.
