UPDATED 2.47pm: A Water Corporation spokeswoman said the cause of the leak was unknown.

“A minor leak was reported in a water main along West Swan Road on Saturday,” she said.

“The Water Corporation contacted the City of Swan to remove a tree to allow crews to get in to fix the leak.”

West Swan Road is expected to be closed for another hour.

The Water Corp has scheduled work to repair the leak for tomorrow evening at 8pm to minimise traffic disruption.
