THE Midland Town Hall’s prominent clock is undergoing conservation works to repair deterioration caused by water damage.

About $300,000 worth of restorations are underway on the clock’s hands, face, gear boxes, and the domed roof overhead.

The clock serves as an important memorial to the men who lost their lives in World War I.
