Perth Observatory on the search for volunteers

Sarah BrookesMidland Kalamunda Reporter

COMMUNITY members interested in science, astronomy, space exploration and its history are being invited to become volunteers at the Perth Observatory in Bickley.

The Perth Observatory Volunteer Group operates the Observatory in a community partnership with the state with volunteers running day and night sky tours for people of all ages.

Astronomy tours are held at night, mostly on weekends, but the group is seeking enthusiastic volunteers who are available on weekdays to conduct school tours.
