KIDS’ stationery store Smiggle is set to open its 300th store globally in Midland this week.
It will open at Midland Gate on August 10.
“We are absolutely delighted that this milestone will be achieved in our home market,” Smiggle managing director John Cheston said.

It has added 56 new stores in the past year, with the largest growth in new markets Hong Kong, Malaysia, UK and Ireland.
“Our global footprint now stands at 131 stores in Australia, 103 in the UK, 23 in New Zealand, 20 in Singapore, 11 in Malaysia, 10 in Hong Kong and two in Ireland,” Mr Cheston said.
