AN Aussie Rules club with its roots in the late 1890s is seeking more players to fill its seconds team in the Metro Football League.

Midland, which won the league’s division 2 competition last season, got its reserves side on the park last weekend for the first time this year.

The club’s first home game this Sunday doubles as the opening of its new clubrooms.
