Outback Splash in Perth’s northeastern suburb of Bullsbrook has announced the extension of its summer season operations thanks to this year’s exceptionally warm weather.

Originally due to close on Sunday, April 14, the water park will keep its doors open for two extra weekends from Friday, April 19 to Sunday, April 21 and Thursday, April 25 to Sunday, April 28.

Outback Splash said the extra two weeks would come at no extra cost for season pass holders as a way to thank guests and the local community for its ongoing support and enthusiasm of the theme park.

The introduction of the latest attraction this season, The Lagoon, has led to record-breaking visitor numbers this summer and the two bonus weekends will also be met with a 25 per cent discount on general admission tickets.

The discount is in conjunction with Buggybuddys, with discounts codes and special offers revealed via its social media platforms.

This summer marks the last opportunity for guests to experience The Plummet, the beloved and well-worn inflatable water slide.

Since 1981 Perth’s Outback Splash has welcomed guests year-round, however the water park will now transition to a seasonal operation, remaining open primarily during the warmer months.

This shift will allow the venue to focus on enhancing the guest experience, with plans already in motion for a unique non-water concept for winter 2025.
