City plans to audit field agreement

The council’s June 25 agenda includes a recommendation from the audit committee to appoint the firm to review the processes, procedures and policies relating to deed negotiations with Yanchep Beach Joint Venture for the active open space project.

According to the report, two of four accounting firms invited make submissions declined. Following presentations by PWC and KPMG, the audit committee decided to recommend the former in the absence of any City administration staff.
