Diagnosed with a brain tumour at five years old, Ruby underwent nine months of chemotherapy and six weeks of intensive radiation therapy and is now in remission.

Terry has raised almost $8000 since 2010 for various charities looking to Ruby and other children suffering from cancer as motivation to find more ways to help the cause.

‘Unfortunately, I’ve seen it all too often, kids in PMH literally fighting for their lives and they can still find reason to smile, it gives you some real perspective,’ he said.

Terry has twice completed the City to Surf, takes part in the shave your head for a cause and holds fundraising events at his home to raise money for the ride.
