YANCHEP District High School students were inspired and entertained by science comedian Josh Richards recently.
Also a MARS ONE candidate, Mr Richards hopes to leave Earth and become one of the first to colonise Mars in 2025.
Teacher Charlene Thrupp said Year 3 to 7 students were inspired and entertained by the comedian.
“Our students were engaged for over an hour listening to Mr Richards adventures to date, how he became involved in this amazing project and what the implications may be in the journey to another planet,” she said.
“The students then had the opportunity to ask questions to gain a further understanding of this life changing decision.
“Josh was able to highlight the endless possibilities in the future of us as individuals, and indeed mankind itself.”
