North coast public high school graduates receive Best and Brightest Awards

FOUR north coast students have been recognised for their outstanding results last year.

The Best and Brightest Awards see $1000 presented to the top vocational and academic Year 12 student in each public high school.

From Clarkson Community High School, Janus Silvestre was the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) dux and Mitchell Anderson was the Vocational Education and Training (VET) winner.

From Mindarie Senior College, Breanna Robcke was the ATAR recipient and Jaimee Parker won for VET.

Schools deputy director-general David Axworthy said the award recognised “public education at its best”.

“These students have performed well and were supported by their school community – their contribution has been imperative to student success,” he said.
