LOCAL cricketers have a new playing option when it comes to suburban ranks.
New side Alkimos District Cricket Club, based at Amberton playing fields in Eglinton, will service residents from Butler to Two Rocks.
The club is holding its inaugural meeting on Thursday, from 5.30pm, at a private address.
