Started by a group of four Perth businesswomen, Secrets in the Garden is an all-day event where community members are invited to be inspired and motivated.

More than 40 successful speakers take part in the feel-good event.

Ms Noakes, founder of Shop & Style Specialist, said she was proud to be involved and have the opportunity to help women.

“I really do feel connected to Secrets in the Garden, it’s all about inspiring women to change the world,” she said.

“But to do that you need to be in touch with who you are, and I want to help women who’ve got lost in that process.”

While her own personal shopping and style business has become a community sensation over the past year, Ms Noakes said the success had not come on a silver platter.

“Everything you do is because you started and took action, I don’t believe in luck,” Ms Noakes said.

“I’ve worked hard on the business and I’m really proud.”

To help empower women through fashion, Ms Noakes will be in the event wardrobe offering tips and suggestions on personal style for attendees.

“The first thing you tell people about yourself is by what you put on, so your outfit,” she said.

“I want to help people get back to their authentic self so they look how they feel on the inside.”

Ms Noakes and a team of stylists will take up residence in the fashion wardrobe at Secrets in the Garden from 11am-4pm.
