ONE truth should now be patently clear – coal is not the cause of our energy problems and non-dispatchable renewables are not the solution.
And when fringe-dwelling politicians desperate for their one day in the sun allow green economists to play market games with the immutable physics of essential services, the voting public will inevitably have their days of darkness.
As is the case in any emotively charged issue of practical consequence, leaders will be disabled from implementing an effective solution to the problem until they have mustered the political courage to identify and deal with its root cause.
