Opinion: Scaffidi’s appeal disappointing

Carl Celedin, South PerthSouthern Gazette

It is disappointing to hear that Cr Scaffidi is appealing the ruling by the State Admin Tribunal.

Elected officials should not only meet the standards expected of them by their constituents, but strive to exceed them.

We should not ask whether there is any impropriety in Cr Scaffidi accepting these gifts, but whether there is any perception of improper conduct.
