SOUTH Perth Junior Cricket Club is going pink for a good cause this weekend.

When the under-11 white and indigo teams face off at Kent Street Senior High School on Saturday, they will be raising money as part of Pink Stumps Day.

“If it’s anything like last year, there will be more zinc on their whites than their faces.

“We are encouraging families to wear pink and there will also be pink merchandise on the day.”

Pink Stumps Day raises money for the McGrath Foundation, who make a difference by helping place breast care nurses in communities across Australia.
