Net Fix marathon at Perth Zoo gives unique view

VISITORS to Perth Zoo recently got to enjoy a Net Fix marathon.

No, they weren’t binging on House of Cards – rather an extraordinary logistical operation to fix the netting that forms the roof of their beautiful Wetlands Aviary.

But that’s easier said than done, when the net is 82m off the ground.

So the Zoo used a 250 tonne crane to access the roof so that the netting could be stitched up.

The Zoo also used a camera to capture the action and get, ahem, a bird’s eye view of proceedings.
