Man receives cut in terrifying armed robbery

A TUART HILL man needed stitches to a wound in his wrist after he was attacked and had his ute stolen by three or four men outside his home overnight.

At about midnight he heard a noise outside his house and saw that a vehicle had crashed into the back of his Holden utility.

He went outside where he was assaulted by the men, one of which was believed to be armed with a bladed weapon.

During the struggle the victim has received a cut to the wrist.

He was threatened, and asked to hand over his car keys which he did, before the offenders left in the victim’s ute.

The man made his own way to hospital to get the wound stitched before alerting police just before 5am.
