Police hunt for man who spat on and racially abused bus driver

POLICE are seeking a man who racially abused and spat on a bus driver in Scarborough on December 13.

Around 12.35pm, the driver was driving the 421 Route from Scarborough Beach to Stirling.

He stopped the bus opposite a cafe at the bottom of Scarborough Beach Road, and noted a man waiting for the bus acting in a disorderly manner.

This man entered the bus but advised that he had no money to buy a ticket and the driver asked to him to leave.

A short time later, the offender spat at the driver and struck his face.

He then racially abused the driver before leaving the area.
