The school expects to lose close to $85,000 because of the reforms, including $55,000 to staffing.
A spokesman from the parent body said the P&C was disappointed with the State Government’s decision.
‘As a parent body, we stand by our school community,’ the spokesman said.
‘We are disappointed with the budget cuts as they do not reflect the outstanding work that is provided to our children by the teachers and non-teaching staff at North Beach Primary School.”
