Sea legs for missing leg

Ms Reed last year competed in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, the only world yacht race amateurs can take part in.

The retired schoolteacher became too sick to continue on the way from Southampton to Brazil and was forced to pull out for one leg while she recovered from the flu.
