Balcatta Football Club gets $500 subsidy from State Government

BALCATTA Football Club is among almost 400 metropolitan clubs who received a subsidy from the Department of Sport and Recreation for new equipment.

The club received $500 from a pool of $191,500 as part of the Community Sporting Club Equipment Subsidy Scheme.

Sport and Recreation Minister Mia Davies said the subsidy allowed clubs to upgrade equipment that was ruined or lost.

“It is also an opportunity for clubs to add to their equipment stock and be able to field a new team or invite more people to participate,” she said.
