Premier Cricket: disappointing finish for Scarborough with big loss to Melville

Kate LeaverStirling Times

SCARBOROUGH could not finish its season with a win, with Melville dominating from start to finish to record a seven-wicket victory to conclude round 15 of the Premier Cricket season.

The Gulls fell early to 4-25, largely thanks to Ryan Duffield, who ripped through the top order.

Jeremy Boyle was the rock with 69 as the away side posted 168 all out.

Luke Towers and Tom Scollay ensured the Storm passed the total with ease, only three wickets down.
