POLO in the Valley kicks off this Sunday at Duncraig Stud in the Swan Valley, with some of the best horsemen from around the world arriving in Perth for the event.

The event, in its eighth year, has cemented itself as one of the biggest in the Perth social calendar.

Polo in the Valley also raises money for Youth Focus and Telethon, with $700,000 raised since it first began and another $100,000 expected to be raised from this year’s event.

Event host Peter Prendiville said there were still tickets available for those who wanted to attend.

“Polo in the Valley is more than just a social event, it’s a chance to give back and support Youth Focus and Telethon,” he said.

“Our family is very proud to support these wonderful Western Australian charities and the incredible work they do.”

Lady Kitty Spencer will be flying in to attend the event, as well as Chef Antonio Carluccio, who is designing the menus in the G.H Mumm VIP Marquee.

Fashion as always will be one of the highlights of the event, with ladies and gents able to take part in Fashion on the Field competition, with custom-made Rohan Jewellery pieces awarded to those best dressed.

Polo in the Valley is on Sunday April 2 at Duncraig Stud from 10.30am and finishes at 5pm.
