RAAF Base Pearce aircraft take flight for 2017

FAST military aircraft based at RAAF Base Pearce have begun flying for the first time this year.

Air Combat Group Commander Steve Roberton said flying activities would gradually increase over the next few weeks around Bullsbrook and areas farther north as personnel geared up for another busy year.

Fighter jets from RAAF Base Pearce operate over WA, and over the ocean off the north-west coast throughout the year.
