TWO students from The Vines will cut their hair off next month and donate it to create wigs for people battling cancer.
Georgie Gillibrand and Montanna Godsell are also aiming to raise $7000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The 14-year-olds said they were inspired to take part in the fundraiser after one of their best friend’s mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.

“It’s not about us cutting out hair, it’s more about what that hair will mean to someone who has cancer and what this money will go towards,” she said.
The duo has so far raised almost $4000 towards their goal.
Montana said both their friend and her mum were overwhelmed by the gesture.
“We don’t go to school with her, but he still wanted to show her we were supporting her and had their back,” she said.
