Mitchell Freeway animal overpass would have been sign of a valued environment

FAUNA underpasses; many people would have heard of them.

But animal overpasses; not too many would be familiar with them.

They were looked into for the extended freeway but the cost was found to be too prohibitive and the distance considered too long across for underpasses.
