ELLENBROOK’S league side came home strongly against Piara Waters to secure a 47-point win.

The strong run home showcased players’ superior fitness and willingness to hunt the ball for all four quarters.

Sitting just two points from the top of the ladder, the next challenge is to travel to face an improving Coolbinia West Perth, who are currently in eighth place.

Vice-president Paul Menaglio said the club was having a strong season.

“The improved feeling in the club this year has been a credit to all members and players across all grades,” he said.

Reserves continued their great form with a 42-point win.

Colts travelled to Mosman Park for their 70-point demolition that secured them fourth place on the ladder.

They now face third-placed Forrestdale in what will be a key game for both sides.

Third-grade beat bottom-placed Jandakot by 53 points.
