Redkite helping children with cancer at Christmas

Laura PondWanneroo Times

National charity Redkite, which supports children and young people with cancer and their families, has predicted that demand for financial assistance from cancer patients will rise by 20 per cent across WA in the lead up to Christmas.

Marketing and fundraising general manager Monique Keighery said Christmas could be a challenging time for many families.

“Some families will get the devastating news that their child has cancer and hundreds of children will be undergoing treatment or facing cancer’s impacts,” she said.
