LANDSDALE business Thermaglaze WA is among more than 30 local enterprises taking part in the Wanneroo Business Expo this month.

The expo is being run by Wanneroo Business Association and City of Wanneroo and offers workshops, networking opportunities and displays by local businesses.

Owner Karen Abbott said they had been growing their business in WA over the past five years, since moving from Queensland, and joined the association two years ago.

“I just thought it was the ideal time for us to get involved,” she said.

It is a small, family-run business led by Mrs Abbott and her husband Nathan, of Jindalee, with their son Connor also working for them.

She hoped the expo would give them the chance to connect with potential customers and

“We decided to go with the (association) primarily to get our business out there and for us to get to know other business owners,” she said.

“There’s other businesses that can help our business.”

The expo is open to the public on August 31 from 9.30am to 4pm at Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre.
