Still life painitng wins prize

Her painting, Still Life with Faceted Jar, Hibiscus Leaves and Turnip won her $1500 in the awards which received entries from more than 160 local artists.

Judges described Chloe’s piece as ‘supremely intelligent and sensitive rendering of subject matter on an unconventional support, which in turn referred to the domestic content of the work’.

The works are on display at lakeside Joondalup Shopping centre until June 22.
