University of the Third Age North Coast (Warwick) region surveyed more than 100 local residents to see if its talks, seminars and discussions filled their needs.

‘The results showed a resounding tick of approval,’ president Pete Alcock said.

‘Members overwhelmingly listed social interaction and stimulating discussions with like-minded people at the top of their list.’

Mr Alcock said more than 75 per cent of respondents were keen to hear talks and presentations on such topics as world history, travel, current events, quizzes, literature and music appreciation.
