A BALACLAVA-clad man allegedly shot a woman during a Carabooda home invasion last night.

The 32-year-old victim was at her Kiln Road home about 11.20pm when two masked men allegedly forced their way into the property.

Police Media Sergeant Andrew Maher said there was an altercation between the woman and the men before one of them allegedly assaulted her and shot her in the leg.

“Both men left the premises in a vehicle but were located shortly after in Tapping,” he said.
