GIRRAWHEEN resident Dorothy Howard is selling copies of her second book of poetry to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy WA.

Mrs Howard said each copy of her All Occasion Verses cost $10 and every cent would go to the charity, which was chosen because several of her relatives had died of muscular dystrophy.

She started her fundraising at Greenwood Village shopping centre on November 12 and will be at Newpark Shopping Centre in Girrawheen on November 27 and 28.
