Weekend camp ideal for families

Sport and Recreation Minister Terry Waldron encouraged families to take advantage of WA’s landscape these school holidays and participate in an outdoors activity.

‘It’s a chance for people of all ages to get outside and take part in all the active recreation opportunities the State has to offer,’ the minister said.

The Ern Halliday Recreation Camp event in Hillarys begins at 10am on Saturday, October 12 and finishes at 2pm Sunday.

The fee is $10 per person or $30 for a family of five, call 9492 9788.
