The SES received a call from the residents of the property on Beach Road in the early hours of Sunday morning after a neighbouring tree fell on the house. Stirling SES operations manager Jenny Cooper said workers removed the tree by about 2pm.

‘The damage was quite severe but the SES crew were able to remove the tree and the house has been covered by a tarp,’ she said. Over the weekend Ocean Reef recorded gusts of up to 100km/h.
