Opinion: Election shows WA is sick of Robin Hood economics

THE people have spoken and we have a new State Government.

West Australians will speak again at the next Federal Election and teach the Government not to use WA as an ATM to fund other less productive states.

Unless there is GST reform then a number of high profile Liberal Ministers will be looking for new jobs.

Why should we produce 40 per cent of the nation’s wealth and be asked to borrow $40 billion to pay for the infrastructure needed to produce this wealth?
