Opinion: Joondalup Council should not spend $1.7m on survey for arts council

Colin Kavanagh, JoondalupWanneroo Times

WHY is Joondalup Council spending $1.7M on a design for an arts centre when the survey they have already carried out has 49 per cent of residents against the project?

If they decide not to proceed with the idea, this money is wasted or is the idea that once they have spent all this money, they will say that they have to carry on with the project.

As a Joondalup resident I will not be voting for any councillor who supports this motion.
