ABOUT 500 BMX riders from all over WA will converge in Wanneroo on May 21 for the Super Series event.

Wanneroo BMX Club president Steve Burnell said the event was the biggest race day on the club’s calendar this year.

This year’s Super Series is made up of 10 events, with rounds hosted around the state.

Wanneroo BMX is hosting round 5.

“The pro racing is spectacular, with the 450m track being completed in the 30-second region with jumps as high as 5m taking place,” Burnell said.

Divisions will include 8-10 years, 11-13 years, 14+ years, sprocket, cruiser, pro open and mini wheeler.

Entry is free for spectators.

Gates open at 6am with racing from 11am.

Wanneroo BMX is at 176 Mary Street.
