Wildcats gearing up for wins

Greg HireWanneroo Times

It isn’t the most pleasant feeling, so after spending time in a sandpit, the weight room, and working on individual aspects of my game we are back at the Perth Arena this Friday night.

There is nothing like getting back in front of 12,000 proud Red Army fans.

The noise can be electrifying, and it gives you an appreciation of what the club’s built.

The players before us have created a very desirable legacy ” something that you want to continue during your tenure as a Perth Wildcat.

We all play to get that ultimate prize, the NBL Championship.

There is nothing more satisfying than reaping the rewards after dealing with adversity and obstacles with your closest mates.

We have been extremely close these last two years and unfortunately we have not been the better team.

The commitment this group has shown during these past three months is admirable, each individual from our stars to the development players have bought in.

Each individual is different in their personalities, their traits and what they bring to the court.

But collectively, I believe we are an extremely formidable line-up.

We will have players who stand up on different nights, I can guarantee that this team will give their utmost every time we get past that white line.

I want to be remembered as a great teammate, a leader and most of all a champion.

It’s time to bring it this Friday night.
