Baldivis man (19) faces court over child sexual assault charges

A BALDIVIS man appeared in Rockingham Magistrates Court today charged with child sexual assault charges committed last month.

Rhian Lee Ryan (19) was charged by Armadale Detectives following an investigation into the alleged sexual assaults of two 13 year old girls.

Police allege he met the two girls at a park in Baldivis, where they exchanged social media details.

It is further alleged he then exchanged ongoing social media messages with the two girls.

Between August 14-17, the girls then attended his Baldivis home address during which the incidents took place.

He was charged with sexual penetration of a child 13-16 years, attempted sexual penetration of a child 13 -16 years and breaching protective bail conditions.

He was remanded in custody to appear again on September 18.
